Laura Narum

I graduated in 2002 from Carthage College (Kenosha, WI) with a degree in history. Not knowing what to do with my history degree, I decided to continue my time in Residence Life and became a Hall Director at St. Ambrose University (Davenport, IA). While there I got an MBA, focusing on international business.

My greatest strength is probably my ability to tackle a project and follow it to the end.

My greatest accomplishment is still in process. I am working on an Emergency Volunteer Reception Center (EVRC) plan for Linn County.

My projects: I am currently the Volunteer Coordinator. I am also helping with the EVRC manual.

How I build capacity (Please answer in complete sentences): I am currently creating an Emergency Volunteer Reception Center plan to present to Linn County.

Fun fact about me: I’ve been to 19 countries, but I have many more to visit.
