Why VISTA in Cedar Rapids: I grew up in Cedar Rapids and wanted to give back to the community that raised me. I'm on a few year break from college and wanted to fill my time usefully.
What gets you excited about work as a VISTA: Helping revitalize a damaged community, and developing programs that can be sustained by others in the future.
What are your future plans: Another year of VISTA work, hopefully as a Lead on the west coast. Beyond that, finish my degree in Music and Vocal Performance
